We are pleased to announce that Working Group 5 – Mechanical Computation is officially operational.
This working group, part of the IntOroadS technical initiative, will focus on exploring and defining technologies, models and standards related to physical and mechanical computation mechanisms. The aim is to contribute to a broader understanding of the potential of unconventional computation, with a particular focus on devices that use mechanical rather than electronic principles.
The group involves international experts from academia, industry and institutions. TW5 aims to promote technical dialogue, knowledge sharing and the production of deliverables that are useful to the entire community.
