The mission of IntOroadS is to improve the safety of transportation infrastructure through studies and research aimed at setting ever-higher safety standards for equipment to be used on the roads of the future.
To achieve its purpose, IntOroadS aims to work in synergy with all stakeholders in the road sector, first highlighting the need to make current standards with respect to the evolution of the automotive sector and with respect to the different criteria that regulate road mobility today and, consequently, to carry out a series of studies and research to evaluate subsequent proposals for changes.
IntOroadS represents a synergistic confluence of academic rigor and practical application, born from the collaborative spirit of all the associates. Our central tenet is the advancement of transportation infrastructure safety through meticulous scientific inquiry, aimed at establishing elevated benchmarks for road equipment. We are driven by the conviction that regulations, such as the foundational EN1317, must evolve in tandem with the significant strides made in the automotive sector over recent decades. IntOroadS remains steadfast in its commitment to enriching the global discourse on road safety through continuous, intellectually rigorous research and the thoughtful dissemination of our findings.
